Am I purchasing a template?
No, what we offer and what you are purchasing is a link to any of our original Canva templates, that we own, to get a copy of the original template for you to customize. Once you have made a significant amount of edits on the template you've downloaded, this edited template is now considered yours. You may then use it any way and print it as many times as you want. Please note that you're the only one with access to it.
How soon can I get my template?
After completing your purchase, you will immediately download a confirmation PDF that includes a link to the template of your choice. You will also receive an email that contains a link to the template.
What if I need help using my template?
Each confirmation PDF for each template includes a link to an instructional guide. Some templates have short instructions on a text box placed right on the template itself that you can delete after. Memorial cards also have an additional instructional guide on how to create a QR code for the reverse side. If you need more help, email us at support@theelegydesk.com right away.
What if I need my template done for me?
Customizations are available but limits apply. Email us at support@theelegydesk.com for more information.

Our Story
Hello and welcome everyone! We are a happy, loving couple raising two teenagers, one opinionated eastern German shepherd, and two bonded chinchillas with opposite personalities are the heart and soul of The Elegy Desk. After barely putting together a very small funeral for an unexpected loss to the family, we saw firsthand that planning a funeral within a very tight budget, while momentarily putting all of the emotional toll on pause, is one of the most difficult events anyone could ever prepare for. We realized that we can help those who are in the same situation as we were, and maybe make things a little easier.
